ChainCatcher news, Aave stated on Twitter: "We want to address the liquidation cycle issue that occurred today in the Aave protocol CRV pool. The liquidation was as successful as designed, but unfortunately, the scale of the positions left some excess debt in the protocol. Most of the CRV loans accumulated last week have been liquidated through the protocol's liquidation process, but there are still 2.64 million CRV (approximately $1.6 million) remaining, representing less than 0.1% of the protocol's loans."

ChainCatcher previously reported that a giant whale borrowed 92 million CRV by collateralizing $63.6 million in Aave V2 and transferred it to an exchange in an attempt to short CRV. The collateral of this whale began to be liquidated last night. (Source link)
