ChainCatcher news, according to DB NEWSWIRE, the Attorney General of the Bahamas stated that an active civil and criminal investigation is underway regarding FTX, and FTX Digital Markets will be regulated in the Bahamas, while Alameda Research will not be regulated.

The Attorney General of the Bahamas stated, "I am fully confident that as things progress, and as the activities of the FTX group are restructured or come to an end, the Bahamas will rise and be held in higher regard."

According to ChainCatcher previous report, the Bahamas Securities Commission stated that it will continue to investigate the FTX liquidity crisis and any potential violations of Bahamian law, and will issue a statement explaining that the decision to seize FTX assets was the right one.
