Vitalik: The narrative that governance rights should have value as tokens is pathological

2022-11-29 21:52:50

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin tweeted, "The narrative that governance rights should be valuable as tokens is pathological. It's like saying I buy $X because later someone might buy it from me and a group of others, distorting the protocol to their special interests, paying $500 for a 0.0001% chance to influence the outcome of certain votes is not a good deal. Only millionaires and hedge funds (including attackers) think this is a good deal." (source link)
