The Aave community initiated a proposal to "add support for wstETH on Optimism Aave V3."

ChainCatcher news, Lido DAO contributor Jacob has initiated a proposal in the Aave community to "add support for wstETH on Optimism Aave V3." The proposal states that the stETH reserves on Aave V2 are the largest reserves among all Aave deployments, with a deposit amount of $1.09 billion, surpassing USDC ($1.08 billion) and ETH ($1.03 billion). By adding support for wstETH on Optimism, it may replicate the early success of the collateral stETH and bring it to Layer 2. (source link)
