Visa proposes to use StarkNet for automatic recurring payments

ChainCatcher message, Visa recently stated in an article in the "VISA Crypto Thought Leadership" column that as one of the largest payment networks in the world, Visa is at the forefront of designing innovative payment products and solutions, actively exploring new methods for smart contracts to help achieve programmability of currency and payments.

In the article, Visa shared a solution using the StarkNet scaling platform to implement a proof of concept through the crypto wallet Argent, as account abstraction allowing smart contracts to execute transactions for users has not yet been operational on Ethereum. The proposal outlines a method for users to automatically send payments using self-custodial wallets without needing to sign each transaction. (Source link)
