The Sui Foundation reiterates that there are currently no plans for token airdrops and will evaluate the contributions of community members to open up token purchases
ChainCatcher news, the Sui Foundation has disclosed the details of the token community access program, which will allow Sui community members to purchase SUI tokens in the early stages of the network. As part of this program, SUI tokens will also be made available to those who helped test Sui applications or promote Sui adoption on the Sui network before the mainnet.
Additionally, the Sui Foundation reiterates that there is currently no official plan for an SUI airdrop. Regarding the eligibility for the token community access program, the Sui Foundation will build a standard in the coming months to assess the contributions of Sui community members.
Specifically, this includes: helping node operators and developers debug issues; assisting in improving the security of the ecosystem by regularly identifying and reporting scams; developers who narrowly missed out on Sui Foundation grants; volunteers in community or project management (e.g., moderators on the Sui Discord server); contributors who help improve the quality of Sui documentation, codebases, or applications; early advocates and users who have been promoting Sui adoption and helping people learn and use Sui; additionally, the CapyHolidays competition may also provide eligible opportunities.
