Slow Fog: BNB Bridge attackers transfer 26 million dollars on Fantom

ChainCatcher news, according to the anti-money laundering tracking system MistTrack under SlowMist AML, shows that after 76 days, the BNB Bridge attacker transferred 26 million USD on FTM. The hacker withdrew 26 million USD in gUSDC from Geist Finance and transferred all USDC to a new address starting with "0x5ad0". The new address exchanged USDC for ETH through Stargate and Multichain. After multiple exchanges, Lido liquidity increased (10095.12 stETH and 6482.11 ETH). The hacker used platforms such as Stargate, SpookySwap, Multichain, Uniswap Labs, Balancer, and Lido in this operation.

Previously, ChainCatcher reported on October 7 that the official BNB Chain bridge Binance Bridge was hacked, with approximately 2 million BNB withdrawn by the attacker, worth 566 million USD. According to an independent analyst from the social media account CIA Officer, the attack currently includes 1.04 million BNB, worth 389 million USD in venusBNB, and 28 million USD in BUSD, totaling 718 million USD.
