Insiders: DeGods requested $5 million from the Solana Foundation as a condition to stay on Solana

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, a representative from the Solana Foundation confirmed that the Solana ecosystem NFT project DeGods had requested $5 million from the Solana Foundation to remain on Solana. The DeGods team declined to comment on this.

Meanwhile, DeGods stated that the migration of y00ts to Polygon also comes at a cost, "Polygon paid for it with grants from its partner fund, the details of the transaction will eventually be made public, this grant will last for a year or maybe two, and there is no upfront payment, it is currently unclear what will happen once the grant runs out."

It is reported that DeGods plans to bridge to Ethereum in the first quarter of 2023, while y00ts will bridge to Polygon in the first quarter of next year.
