ChainCatcher news, artists Ryder Ripps, who is being sued by Yuga Labs, and Jeremy Cahen, the founder of the NFT market Not Larva Labs, have filed a new lawsuit asking the court to declare that BAYC images are not entitled to copyright protection because "they were generated by an automated computer algorithm, with no human involvement in determining which of the 10,000 BAYC images was selected."
