Polkadot Releases 2022 Review: Currently, there are 74 parachains in the ecosystem, and over 300 Dapps
ChainCatcher news, according to the official Twitter, Polkadot has released its 2022 annual review. As of now, the Polkadot ecosystem has 74 parachains, with over 300 Dapps, covering more than 550 projects and 2,500 monthly active developers.
After the launch of secure cross-chain interoperability XCM (Cross-Consensus Message), over 350,000 XCM transfers have been sent so far. Substrate underwent nearly 1,000 non-fork upgrades in 2022, including 15 upgrades on the Polkadot blockchain.
In addition, Polkadot has integrated Tether and USDC and launched the decentralized trading platforms Polkdadex and Equilibrium to support DeFi. The next-generation blockchain governance system OpenGov is expected to go live soon. (source link)
