ChainCatcher news, according to a report from CryptoCompare, the trading volume of centralized exchanges decreased by 46% during 2022. Among all exchanges, Binance achieved a market share of 66.7% in December, up from 48.7% at the beginning of the year, but Binance's spot trading volume fell by 45.3% to $5.29 trillion.
The report states that among the 11 tracked exchanges, only Binance and Bybit saw an increase in market share every quarter of 2022. In December, Coinbase ranked second in market share with 8.2%, down from 10.1% at the beginning of the year. Following Coinbase is OKX, which had a market share of 5.9% in December, down from 10.7% at the start of 2022. (source link)
