ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, French central bank governor Francois Villeroy de Galhau is urging stricter regulatory requirements for crypto companies in France.
It is reported that this will precede the EU's landmark Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, which will establish a licensing regime for crypto companies across the EU, set to be voted on in February and implemented in 2024. (source link)
