ChainCatcher news, Ankr, which was previously attacked by hackers, recently tweeted to announce the progress of the incident. They are currently cooperating with law enforcement, and previously ZachXBT discovered that the funds transferred to Huobi were actually recovered funds, and they are still attempting to recover more funds. Ankr stated that they have compensated affected users over $30 million and have recovered over $2 million from the hackers so far.

According to a previous report by ChainCatcher, the hackers maliciously updated the smart contract version, resulting in an infinite minting vulnerability in the aBNBc token contract. (source link)
