Mark Cuban has been ordered by a judge to testify on February 2 for promoting Voyager Digital

ChainCatcher news, NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is required to testify on February 2 due to promoting Voyager Digital, as ordered by a judge. Mark Cuban had requested to testify in two sessions, but U.S. District Judge Lisette M. Reid denied the request and mandated that he must provide full testimony in Texas.

The judge also stated that three plaintiffs related to the Voyager Digital class action lawsuit, Pierce Robertson, Rachel Gold, and Sanford Gold, will be dismissed by the end of this month, and two Dallas Mavericks employees must also be dismissed by February 23.

It is reported that the lawsuit was initially filed on August 10, 2022, with the plaintiffs accusing Cuban of repeatedly distorting facts before Voyager's bankruptcy, claiming that Voyager was cheaper than its competitors and offered "commission-free" trading services. (Cointelegraph)
