The Cosmos ecological payment project e-Money has stopped issuing the euro stablecoin EEUR
ChainCatcher news, the Cosmos ecosystem payment project e-Money has announced that, considering market conditions, it has halted the issuance of the euro-backed stablecoin EEUR, which will support redemptions until March 6, 2023. The e-Money blockchain will continue to operate, and the codebase will be made available under an open-source license.
It is reported that e-Money was established in 2017, and in early 2020, it launched the emoney-1 mainnet, providing payment and decentralized trading services. In 2020, it began issuing the EEUR stablecoin, initially using Ethereum bridging technology, and later integrated Cosmos IBC and Axelar. (source link)
