ChainCatcher news, the next round of hearings for FTX will be held at 9 AM Eastern Time on Wednesday, January 11, at the Delaware bankruptcy court. SBF will submit a new motion at this hearing, requesting that Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads law firm represent his interests in this case.
Additionally, Lightspeed Strategic Partners has also filed a motion with the court seeking to have its legal team join the case. Lightspeed was involved in FTX's $1 billion Series B funding round. In early 2022, FTX announced that Amy Wu, who was responsible for this investment, would join FTX to lead the "venture capital, gaming, mergers and acquisitions, and business planning" department.
