Bloomberg: Binance will allow institutional investors to place collateral in cold wallets through Binance Custody
According to ChainCatcher news, Binance will allow institutional investors to use the Binance Custody service to place the collateral for their leveraged positions in cold wallets, instead of having to keep the collateral on the platform at all times, as reported by Bloomberg.
It is understood that Binance Custody will place user assets in cold wallets, and once the user's leveraged positions are closed and settled, the collateral assets can be transferred again. This move aims to alleviate the trust crisis caused by the collapse of FTX. (Source link)
