a16z voted against deploying Uniswap V3 on BNB Chain, hoping to use LayerZero for the deployment
According to ChainCatcher news, the voting results show that a16z voted against the "Deploy Uniswap V3 on BNB Chain" proposal using all of its 15 million UNI tokens.
It is reported that the proposal was put forward by OxPlasma Labs, and the deployment will use the Wormhole bridge. a16z partner Eddie Lazzarin stated in the forum that if technically feasible, a16z would use its 15 million UNI to vote in support of LayerZero. Wormhole representatives expressed that they would be shocked if a16z went against the community voting results and attempted to prevent it from taking effect, although it seems that a16z is unlikely to do so at this time.
