ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Australian digital asset payment service startup CryptoSpend is seeking to complete a Series A funding round of AUD 5 million (approximately USD 3.5 million) at a valuation of AUD 45 million (approximately USD 31.25 million) within the next two months. Co-founder Richard Voice stated that the goal of this funding round is to increase the company's valuation by about four times and plans to launch in New Zealand this year.

It is reported that CryptoSpend launched the first Australian local crypto Visa card at the end of 2021, allowing users to use cryptocurrency. The company stated that since the second quarter of last year, revenue has increased sixfold, and the current customer base is approximately 17,000 people. (source link)
