Bloomberg: Dubai's crypto regulator plans to quadruple staff to handle license applications
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) plans to quadruple its staff to handle license applications. VARA CEO Henson Orser stated that it is expected to process around 300 new applications by the end of this year and will start issuing final licenses in June to companies that have already been authorized under Dubai's minimum viable product licensing regime.
