Bitcoin mining company Digihost completes acquisition of a natural gas power plant in New York

ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining company Digihost has completed the acquisition of a natural gas power plant in New York State. Digihost CEO Michel Amar stated that the acquisition will be paid in full in cash to avoid taking on debt or diluting the equity of existing shareholders.

Previously, ChainCatcher reported that Digihost announced in March 2021 that it would acquire the power plant for $4.25 million, with the payment to be made in cash and stock. (source link)
