Aave's native stablecoin GHO is launched on the Ethereum Goerli testnet
ChainCatcher news, Aave's native stablecoin GHO has launched on the Ethereum Goerli testnet. Developers and potential adopters of GHO can access the stablecoin codebase and test its functionality. The mainnet launch of GHO still requires community discussion and approval. Before the testnet release, GHO was deployed with audits from blockchain code auditing firms Open Zeppelin, SigmaPrime, and ABDK, and is currently undergoing an audit by Certora.
The protocol has also launched a bug bounty program, encouraging community members to discover and report security vulnerabilities, with rewards of up to $250,000. BlockBeats previously reported that in December last year, Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated on his social platform that the internal testnet for Aave's native stablecoin GHO was progressing smoothly. Aave plans to release its public testnet in early January 2023. Additionally, Aave will deploy Aave V3 on Ethereum in January. (Source link)
