ChainCatcher news, according to BusinessWire, the Cardano Foundation has announced the appointment of former PwC executive Andreas Pletscher as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and former Swiss regulatory official Nicolas Jacquemart as Chief Legal Officer (CLO).

Andreas Pletscher has served as a technology director at PwC and IBM, with over 25 years of experience in the international financial services industry, managing complex operations and IT transformation projects. Nicolas Jacquemart previously worked in the fintech department of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and has also held positions at a well-known Swiss law firm, holding a PhD in law from the University of Zurich, focusing on the intersection of blockchain technology and financial market regulation.
