Zambia conducts technical tests to regulate cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher news, Zambia's Minister of Technology Felix Mutati stated that the Central Bank of Zambia and the Securities and Exchange Commission are conducting technical tests to regulate cryptocurrency. Mutati described cryptocurrency as a "revolutionary technology" that helps Zambia achieve its future vision to some extent.
Mutati also revealed that as part of measures to help Zambia achieve an "inclusive digital economy," the testing of regulatory technology will soon be upgraded. Furthermore, Mutati mentioned that Zambia has become a preferred investment destination for many investors and is seeking to become a technology hub in the region, having begun to build the necessary infrastructure.
