Coinbase launches Ethereum Layer 2 network Base
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase has launched the Ethereum L2 network "Base". Base is a secure, low-cost, developer-friendly Ethereum L2 designed to bring the next billion users to Web3. Base will serve as Coinbase's on-chain product home while also being an open ecosystem that anyone can build on.
It is reported that the development of Base will be built on the OP Stack and in collaboration with Optimism. The testnet is already live, and the mainnet will be released later. (source link)
