Spotify is testing playlists that require NFTs to unlock

ChainCatcher news, according to a tweet from the metaverse band Kingship, which is signed with Universal Music Group (UMG), the streaming company Spotify is testing playlists unlocked by NFTs. During the trial, Kingship released a special playlist that can only be accessed by NFT users who hold the Kingship key card.

Kingship stated that currently only Android users in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand can experience this new feature. In addition to Kingship, teams such as Overlord, Fluf, and Kevin Rose's Moonbird are also testing this feature.

In response, Spotify confirmed this test by commenting on the tweets from Overload and Kingship, but did not disclose further details. The company told TechCrunch that this is just one of many tests on the platform. (source link)
