EIP-6147 has been moved to the final version, which separates the ownership and transfer rights of NFTs and SBTs
ChainCatcher message, the Ethereum Improvement Proposal EIP-6147 proposed by 10K Universe has been moved to Final status. This standard is an extension of ERC-721, separating the ownership and transfer rights of NFTs and Soulbound Tokens (SBTs), and defining a new role, the guard (which can set an expiration time). The flexibility of guard settings makes designs such as NFT anti-theft, NFT lending, NFT leasing, and SBTs possible.
Ethereum EIPs must go through the stages of conception, draft, review, and Last Call before reaching Final status. Any EIP that is in draft or review status and remains inactive for 6 months or longer will be moved to a stagnant state.
It is reported that 10K Universe is a research-driven service platform aimed at NFT 2.0, with core members including the proposers of EIP-6105 and EIP-6147, 5660.eth, former Chief Technology Officer of Didi Wizard Wang, and NFT project developer Hasbulla (Abu). (source link)
