Data: Vietnam has over 16.6 million cryptocurrency holders, second only to Thailand in ASEAN

ChainCatcher news, according to the recent "2022 Vietnam Cryptocurrency Market Report" published by Coin98 Insights, there are currently about 200 blockchain projects operating in Vietnam, with 28.8% in gaming and metaverse projects, 26.0% in DeFi, 12.4% in NFTs, 11.3% in infrastructure, and 5.1% in Web3.

The report also shows that Vietnam has over 16.6 million cryptocurrency holders, second only to Thailand in ASEAN, with 31% holding BTC; among the top 200 blockchain companies in the world, 7 are founded by Vietnamese. (source link)
