MakerDAO founder releases governance reform proposal aimed at enhancing governance efficiency, transparency, and inclusiveness
ChainCatcher news, Maker founder Rune Christensen released a governance reform proposal titled "Endgame" on the governance forum, which includes the implementation of the Maker charter, governance participation incentives (2023), and the reuse of SubDAOs to simplify MakerDAO governance focus (2024).
Rune stated that in Endgame, the main tasks of SubDAOs include maintaining a decentralized front end, allocating Dai collateral, addressing operational efficiency risks, marginal decision-making, and experimenting with innovative products and growth strategies, allowing Maker governance to focus on reducing tail risks and asset-liability management. Endgame aims to address the key opportunities and challenges faced by the blockchain industry by establishing a resilient and reliable governance balance, making Maker governance more efficient, transparent, and inclusive. Endgame also promotes scalable and parallel product innovation and growth strategies. (source link)
