Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX releases fourth transparency report

ChainCatcher news, Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has released its fourth transparency report. From October 2022 to March 2023, WazirX stated that it maintained a 100% compliance rate for all requests received from law enforcement agencies (LEA), with the requests involving a total transaction value of $390 million. Additionally, WazirX proactively identified suspicious activity accounts through third-party platforms and shared information with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND).

WazirX indicated that some of the Indian and foreign law enforcement agencies it collaborated with from October 2022 to March 2023 included the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Enforcement Directorate, National Cyber Crime Unit, Odisha Vigilance, Special Task Force, Bhopal Police, World Bank Police, Maharashtra Police, Crime Branch, Toronto Police, Dortmund Police, New York County District Attorney, Burlington Police, California Police, Florida Police, and others.
