Data: Over $1.15 billion in ETH has been permanently lost due to human error
ChainCatcher news, according to Coinbase director Conor Grogan, over 636,000 ETH (approximately $1.15 billion) on the Ethereum blockchain have been permanently lost due to thousands of human errors, accounting for 0.5% of the circulating supply.
Conor Grogan further stated that the aforementioned amount only covers the ETH that is permanently locked, significantly lower than the actual amount of ETH that is lost/inaccessible. (Source link)
