ChainCatcher news, the Huangpu District Science and Technology Commission and the Huangpu District Finance Bureau of Shanghai have issued the "Policy Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Digital Industry in Huangpu District." The opinions point out that they support the agglomeration of the digital industry and the creation of an innovative ecosystem for the industry. They support the empowerment of digital technology and the expansion of digital scenario applications. For projects that obtain the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's artificial intelligence industry innovation task, as well as special funds for promoting high-quality industrial development in Shanghai (related to information technology), district-level matching funds will be provided at a maximum ratio of 1:1, with a cap of 2 million yuan.

For projects that align with the district's digital industry development orientation and focus on key areas such as artificial intelligence, integrated circuit design and manufacturing, the metaverse, software and algorithms, quantum computing, next-generation networks, and blockchain, which are independently developed or jointly conducted through industry-university-research collaboration to tackle key technologies, a one-time support of up to 30% of the total project investment will be granted for projects that are advanced, innovative, groundbreaking, or disruptive, with a maximum of 2 million yuan.
