Galaxy Digital CEO: Regulation has completely reversed its approach to AI and cryptocurrency

ChainCatcher news, Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz told investors that he is shocked by the level of attention regulators are giving to cryptocurrencies rather than AI, and he believes AI will trigger a "deep fake" identity crisis.

Mike Novogratz also stated, "When I think about AI, we have talked so much about crypto regulation, yet there is barely a word about AI regulation; I think the government has it completely backwards. In many ways, one of the best use cases for crypto technology will be around identity verification for AI." However, he believes that blockchain-based applications will play a "huge role" in addressing some of the issues raised by AI. (Source link)
