The Montenegrin court rejected Do Kwon's appeal to extend detention
ChainCatcher news, the Podgorica court in Montenegro rejected the appeal by Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon against the court's decision to extend his detention. The court explained the reasons for dismissing Do Kwon's appeal, stating, "There is no reason to believe that he does not pose a flight risk, as he is a foreigner residing temporarily in Montenegro."
In addition, local investigative authorities confiscated multiple passports held by Do Kwon, some of which had different names, with the reason for confiscation being that he is listed on the Interpol Red Notice. The court added, "This means that if Do Kwon and his accomplices are released, they could easily leave Montenegro at any time."
Do Kwon's accomplice was arrested on the 23rd while attempting to flee from Podgorica Airport in Montenegro to Dubai on a private jet and is currently detained for 30 days. (source link)
