South Korean Prosecutor's Office: The extradition request for Do Kwon predates that of the United States, and the final extraditing country will be determined by the Montenegrin court
ChainCatcher news, a relevant person from the Southern District Prosecutors' Office in Seoul, South Korea, refuted the claim made by the Montenegrin Ministry of Justice that "the U.S. extradition request for Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon was made before South Korea." The person stated, "Our Ministry of Justice submitted a request for the extradition of the criminal to Montenegro on March 24, while the U.S. made its request on the 25th. The day after Do Kwon was arrested on March 23, the Ministry submitted the extradition request via email and international courier." He also mentioned that the final extraditing country will be determined by the Montenegrin court, and it cannot be said which country would benefit. (source link)
