ChainCatcher news, Twitter has opened most of its source code to the global community, with two new repositories (main repo, ml repo) now publicly available on GitHub, including the recommendation algorithm (which controls the For You timeline), although it currently does not include code that supports ad recommendations. Twitter stated that it has also taken additional measures to ensure user safety and privacy are protected, including the decision not to release training data or model weights related to Twitter's algorithms at this time.
