a16z crypto appoints former Google executive as operating partner
ChainCatcher news, former Google executive Jason Rosenthal has been appointed as the [a16z](https://www.rootdata.com/zh/Investors/detail/Andreessen Horowitz?k=MjM3) crypto operating partner, leading its portfolio business. It is reported that Jason Rosenthal has over 25 years of experience as an internet entrepreneur and executive, including more than 10 years as a startup CEO, recently overseeing most of Google's consumer subscription services operations.
In addition, Jason Rosenthal has a long-standing connection with a16z; in the 1990s, after training, he served as a project manager at Netscape, shortly after which Rosenthal was hired by Horowitz and Marc Andreessen as the first employee of Loudcloud.
