Cryptocurrency companies are seeking to expand into emerging markets, with Coinbase and Ava Labs appointing new heads for overseas regions
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, as the market rebounds, several crypto companies including Coinbase and Immutable have chosen to expand their executive teams in March this year. Additionally, due to regulatory uncertainty in the United States, some crypto companies are shifting their focus to markets outside the U.S. to seek growth.
Among them:
- Coinbase hired former Shopify executive Lucas Matheson as the National Director for Canada;
- Zero Hash hired former Gemini executive Araba Eshun as the UK Compliance Officer and International Compliance Vice President;
- Avalanche developer Ava Labs hired former banker Justin Kim and serial entrepreneur Roi Hirata as the heads of business for South Korea and Japan, respectively. (source link)
