ChainCatcher news, Nike will launch its first virtual sneaker NFT collection "Our Force 1 (OF1)" on its Web3 platform .Swoosh, which also commemorates the Nike Air Force 1 sneaker series. Starting from April 18, Nike will airdrop to .Swoosh users, and those who receive the airdrop will have early access to the promotional event on May 8. On May 10, the sale will be open to all users in the .Swoosh community.

Users can choose between two digital boxes—"Classic Remix" and "New Wave"—with different designs corresponding to each box, priced at $19.82 each. Nike stated that each NFT will come with a paired 3D file and plans to expand its utility in the future, including "exclusive physical products or experiences."

Previously reported, last November Nike announced the launch of the Web3 ecosystem platform .Swoosh, which is part of Nike's virtual studio, led by Ron Faris, former head of the Nike Snkrs app and vice president. (source link)
