ChainCatcher news, on Wednesday, a bankruptcy judge in New Jersey agreed to extend the deadline for cryptocurrency lending company BlockFi Inc. to submit its Chapter 11 or reorganization plan to May 15. The judge stated that a brief delay is worthwhile to ensure the case continues to run smoothly.

According to reports, at the hearing, BlockFi's attorney Joshua Sussberg referred to it as a "modest" extension and stated that the company would prepare a plan for unsecured creditors to evaluate within two weeks. (See source link)
