Event Review: The Breakthrough Path of Web3 Games and Applications

The themed event "The Path to Breakthrough for Web3 Games and Applications," hosted by Mirror World, Ancient8, and Opside, was successfully held on April 14 in Hong Kong, Shaffy Road. This event is one of the few "GameFi & Applications" themed activities among the peripheral events of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival, focusing deeply on discussions about games and applications. It received strong support from various blockchain game and application projects, and participants provided enthusiastic feedback, calling it one of the best peripheral events they attended during the Hong Kong Web3 Festival.

During the speaker session, Ancient8 Co-founder Howard was the first guest to share, discussing how Ancient8 is building a DAO to create a development infrastructure layer for GameFi and sharing the vision for the next generation of the metaverse that Ancient8 is exploring.

Next, Mirror World CEO Chris took the stage to share his thoughts on the activation and conversion of Web3 games and applications, proposing a new paradigm for reconstructing the Web3 development pipeline and the one-stop value increment that the Smart Platform brings to developers.

Opside CMO Jeff, as the closing guest, shared his thoughts on ZK technology. He introduced how Opside will focus on innovations in its ZK-RaaS & PoS+PoW hybrid consensus mechanism to fill the existing market gap in ZK-RaaS solutions.

After the speakers' presentations, the co-hosting project parties engaged in a roundtable forum to discuss how Web3 applications can innovate and how games can break through. Participants responded enthusiastically, expressing that they gained a lot from the discussions. Core members from LOA, Matr1X, P12, Shiba Shiba Doge, Spike, and Oasis AI shared their observations on the current state of Web3 games and thoughts on future development directions during the "Breaking Through Web3 Games: Innovation, Opportunities, and Challenges" panel discussion, receiving positive feedback from attendees.

In another roundtable discussion titled "Innovation in Web3 Applications: How Infrastructure Reform Will Disrupt Product Experience," leaders from Mirror World, QuestN, Parami Protocol, ReadON, and Web3.com shared their views and practices on the innovation of Web3 applications, showcasing the determination of Builders to continuously innovate Web3 applications across different tracks and providing rich content and insights for the participants.

During this event, several guests from outstanding blockchain game and application projects shared their experiences and insights, presenting new development trends and cutting-edge technologies in Web3 Game, as well as providing attendees with a rare opportunity for exchange.
