The fifth development testnet of Ethereum EIP-4844 will launch next week
ChainCatcher news, Galaxy's Vice President of Research Christine Kim published a blog summarizing the 107th Ethereum Core Developers Consensus Meeting. Christine Kim stated that after a brief confirmation of the success of the Shanghai upgrade, the meeting began discussing preparations for Deneb. Among them, Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko mentioned that the fifth development testnet for EIP-4844 will be launched sometime next week. Meanwhile, during the consensus meeting, developers proposed to include EIP-4788 along with 3175 and EIP-4844 in the Deneb upgrade.
Regarding EIP-6914, developers agreed to continue finalizing the details of the code changes and to push its implementation to a hard fork after Deneb. Additionally, developers discussed the beacon chain attestation subnet (attnets), and Adrian Manning from the Lighthouse (CL) client team proposed a solution for subscribing validator nodes to long-term attnets, stating that this change does not need to be executed through a hard fork.
