ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, a bipartisan bill submitted to the U.S. Senate and House on Thursday will call for the federal government to study cases of cryptocurrency used for illegal activities and propose recommendations on how to reduce these uses. The "Financial Technology Protection Act" suggests the establishment of a working group responsible for researching how terrorists or other criminals use cryptocurrency and other new financial technologies, and for providing Congress and regulatory agencies with recommendations aimed at combating these uses.
