EU Commission official: The EU may reach a political agreement on artificial intelligence legislation this year
ChainCatcher news, Margrethe Vestager, the European Commission's Executive Vice President and Commissioner for Competition, stated that the EU may reach a political agreement this year that will pave the way for the world's first major artificial intelligence legislation. Vestager suggested legislating the use of AI tools, such as labeling AI-generated images.
