ChainCatcher news, the Aave community is currently voting on the proposal "How to allocate the 300,000 OP received by Aave Grants DAO (AGD)", which currently has a support rate of 99.97% and will end on May 8.

According to the proposal, the Aave community created a proposal last year and successfully received 300,000 OP tokens as part of the incentive fund OP Stimpack Phase 0. These tokens will be used to fund projects to help Aave's development on Optimism. The proposal aims to clarify how the received OP should be allocated and gain community support.

The proposal suggests allocating up to 100,000 OP for grants in the current AGD quarter as well as Optimism-centered events and bounties, while reserving the remaining 200,000 OP in the AGD multi-signature wallet for future AGD quarterly grants or allocations. If this proposal passes in the current vote, AGD will allocate funds as described above. No AIP or further governance action is required. (Source link)
