Optimism will use the on-chain proof protocol EAS to promote fair OP distribution and community voting system
According to ChainCatcher news and reported by CoinDesk, Optimism will use the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) on-chain proof protocol to facilitate a fairer OP distribution and community voting system on Optimism. Optimism users can use this technology to prove information they believe to be accurate, such as whether a person has built or contributed to a specific project, or whether a person has made a profitable trade, etc.
This technology will also support the work of the Optimism Collective, an entity that rewards ecosystem contributors with cryptocurrency by providing the necessary information to distribute OP to community members who have made positive contributions to the blockchain. This will incentivize developers to build critical infrastructure on Optimism and undertake other projects to improve the user experience within the ecosystem. (source link)
