Security Agency: Binance's proposal to add wBETH to the Gauge Controller initiated by Curve poses potential risks

According to ChainCatcher's message, the blockchain security agency Supremacy has monitored a potential risk in Binance's proposal to add wBETH to the Gauge Controller initiated by Curve. There is a feature in the WrapTokenV1BSC contract on the BNBChain platform that allows the transfer of all ETH Reserve, which is a single-signature EOA account. This means that a private key leak or internal malfeasance could lead to very serious consequences.

Binance's feedback indicated that the private key of this account is controlled by the finance department, which provides a certain level of security and thus reduces the risk. However, Supremacy still believes there is a centralization risk at the code level. (Source link)
