The Arbitrum community has initiated a proposal to "distribute part of the DAO revenue to ARB holders."
According to ChainCatcher news, the community governance page shows that the Arbitrum DAO is discussing a new proposal to "allocate part of the DAO revenue to ARB holders." This proposal aims to adjust community incentives and grant ARB more functions beyond those of a regular governance token. The proposal was initially put forward on May 10.
According to the proposal details, as mentioned in a recent tweet by Arbitrum, the DAO has accumulated approximately 3352 ETH in revenue from Layer 2 base fees and surplus fees. The revenue distribution will be proportional to the amount of ARB delegated by each holder, and distributions can be triggered regularly in the future to ensure timely rewards for the community.
