ChainCatcher news, Luka Burazer, a director of the Croatian cryptocurrency investment firm BitLucky, stated in an email sent to clients on May 19: "Due to a series of bad trades and decisions, the company is now facing a crisis. We will provide more information in the coming days." However, he and the company's co-founder subsequently went completely offline and deleted their social media.
According to local media Jutarnji list, a secretary from the company explained over the phone, "The directors have spent all the money." It is reported that these losses involve cryptocurrency assets nominally worth 70 million euros (approximately 75.7 million dollars), affecting at least 700 users.
It is understood that BitLucky claimed it would invest clients' money in cryptocurrencies and promised monthly profits of 5%-25%. (source link)
