Bitcoin miner MARA pledges to provide $500,000 in matching funds for Brink
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining giant Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA) announced that during the Bitcoin 2023 conference held in Miami Beach, it will donate $500,000 to the non-profit Bitcoin development company Brink in a two-to-one manner, and will subsequently match additional donations one-to-one until December 31 after the conference ends.
It is reported that these donations will be used to fund Bitcoin Core developers to write and maintain code. If third-party donations occur, Brink could raise up to $1 million. (Source link)
